The role of Property Manager at Barfoot & Thompson Parnell is an ideal fit for me. I have a genuine passion for meeting new people and I’m always up for a chat. My interest in real estate goes way back and property management gives me the opportunity to build strong working relationships with our owners and tenants.

When I arrived in New Zealand, it was Barfoot & Thompson that caught my eye. I heard great stories about working here, the company has a high profile and a great reputation, so joining the team here was an easy choice for me. And- all the great stories turned out to be true!

Prior to real estate, my career in hospitality began when I was 15 years old. I started out as a dishwasher then quickly progressed in the industry - completing a Business Hospitality qualification in Amsterdam, then managing restaurants, weddings and events in the Netherlands, Australia and New Zealand. From the very beginning I learned that excellent customer service improves the relationship between guests and your establishment. Also, satisfied guests are more likely to become loyal and regular customers. This background helps me in my role today.

Parnell is known for its boutiques, galleries and dining options, with footpaths and bike trails that lead to the Auckland Domain, one of the many green spaces and parks in the area. It is also home to the Auckland War Memorial Museum, a must-visit experience highlighting the rich culture of Aotearoa New Zealand.

Football is a sport that I have loved since my childhood - I still play twice a week. I also enjoy scuba diving during the holidays.
