Houses have always held a fascination for me. Ever since I was a child I always wondered what was going on inside. I think it was the fact that a house enveloped the people who lived in it providing them with security, safety and warmth. I still feel like that today, particularly about brick and tile properties!
Prior to real estate, I worked in the UK and was lucky enough to be involved in some of the largest manufacturing industries in the world. From the “buzz” of providing health and safety products for 10,000 workers on a Toyota assembly line to the individual requirements of Rolls Royce Aerospace work or creating a bespoke product for five workers who produced the revered Bentley motorcars, these unique opportunities were stimulating and challenging.
I completed a Diploma in Marketing which has proved to be invaluable to my sales career. Good communication and an eye for detail help me to provide a complete rounded service for owners and also to ensure that tenants feel secure and listened to.
What I love about Barfoot & Thompson is that it is a family business and their values are practiced on a daily basis.
Hauraki has been home for me since 1995, so travelling to work in Milford is an absolute dream. Living in a household of rugby league fans I am involved whether I like it or not! I enjoy running along the beach and really believe that we live in a paradise.
