What could be better than a family team within a family business? The quality and care we provide is a reflection of our morals and our ability to deliver exceptional service every time. It is for this reason that we have been recognised as an award-winning team in Pokeno.
Working alongside my mother and father, I make up one third of Team Tuhaka. Growing up in Port Waikato and Pukekohe respectively, I remember Pokeno for its large stretch of paddocks and the famous ice creams. Over the years, I have watched it blossom into the bustling township that it is today. That is why I'm proud to be working here and continuing to build on that growth, years later.
Previously, I worked as a junior sales representative. It was a role that exposed me to a variety of clients and sparked in me a passion for working with others. This coincided with leading service teams from a young age - my confidence grew and I knew I could back my own instincts, while at the same time being open-minded to others' thoughts and opinions for the best results.
The love of food almost led me to becoming a chef. Thank goodness I am able to cook whatever I desire from home, hence the career change! I played rugby for most of my life, predominantly for Pukekohe. Unfortunately, a few too many head knocks took me away from the game, however my youngest brother and dad still play for the club so I am still able to soak it in - even if it’s from the side-lines.
I’m young and eager to start my career on a high note. Although I may not have the same experience as many salespeople, what I do have is the hunger and desire to make a difference. I’m not doing my job right if you are in a constant panic. So put your feet up and relax knowing that I’m here to work for YOU.
