Real estate is not just about helping people find a home - it’s about getting to know the individual, discovering what is important in their lives and building a strong working relationship with them. This is an industry that offers a great deal of reward and flexibility for the salesperson too. Each day is different, and with a dedicated and organised approach, one can weave other commitments into the schedule.
After joining the team at Barfoot & Thompson Otahuhu I quickly discovered the supportive environment that comes with working for this iconic company. Whether it’s IT, Marketing or Training you need – each deapartment helps set the stage for success.
I have a Diploma in Information and Communication Technology (Support & Operations). My previous job was working in a Managed Isolation Quarantine Facility through the Covid-19 pandemic. Even though it was a stressful time for everyone, I learned a lot about helping people under difficult circumstances, and finding ways to understand and support them. I’m proud to say that I was honoured by Jacinda Ardern, then Prime Minister of New Zealand, for my service in support of the national Covid-19 response.
Since moving to New Zealand, I’ve been living in South Auckland and have come to know what makes this area special. It’s home to the largest Pacific Island population in the world and if you visit the Otara Markets on a Saturday morning, you’ll find a delicious array of international cuisine on offer.
I love cooking, travelling and I have a love of dogs.
As well as English I speak Hindi and Punjabi. I’m friendly and relaxed and clients find me easy to talk to. I’d love the chance to chat with you – and I’m certain that, together, we can make your next real estate move an enjoyable one!
