#7 Individual Salesperson, Eastern Suburbs, to end March 2017
Since 1994, I have been successfully selling in the ‘wider Bays’ of Auckland city. I’m proud to say I am the longest-serving member of the Barfoot & Thompson St Heliers sales team.
My first job upon leaving college was with the Bank of New Zealand. Next, I worked for the Ports of Auckland Property before being appointed Regional Property Manager of Fletcher Challenge/Challenge Properties Limited, primarily responsible for Fletcher Pension Fund properties and other strategic assets including Wiri Wool Store. All of these roles were an interesting introduction to the world of property.
I grew up in Riddell Road attending Glendowie Primary School and St Kentigern College and for the past 30 years, my wife and I have resided in again, Riddell Road. We have three adult children and one grandson who we understandably adore.
Sports-wise, I was selected to represent New Zealand in three unrestricted World 18ft championships, both locally and in Australia. Before this, I was the 18ft M class champion with the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron and was part of the winning crew in the Citizen Match Race series in keelboats. Aside from being a highly competitive yachtsman, I am interested in all sports.
Throughout my lengthy career in real estate, I have experienced many different market trends and various design phases and construction types that presented their own challenges from time to time. Eastern Bays is my patch! In fact, I am a past Barfoot & Thompson award winner for sales in the area.
I bring a wealth of experience to the table, along with an extensive client network – estimable attributes that will assist in achieving price maximisation when selling your most valuable asset. I now have Associate status of the Real Estate Institute of New Zealand entitling me to use the very distinctive AREINZ.
