About Dayle Barnes

A passion for property and thriving on the thrill of negotiating a great deal for my clients was what first attracted me to the real estate industry.

I’ve recently moved from Barfoot & Thompson Grey Lynn and now, being based at Mission Bay, I have a good knowledge of property from Central Auckland to the Eastern Suburbs and beyond.

Completing a Diploma in Marketing and also Sales & Marketing lead me to a 28-year career in Sales and Management roles – in these roles I developed a great understanding of how to work effectively with people from all walks of life and an added benefit was that I established a wide network of contacts, all of whom could be potential buyers for my clients’ properties.

Time spent renovating multiple properties has given me great insight into property construction. This has proved to be very beneficial when viewing potential properties with clients.

My two sons, now 21 and 29, a sparky and a mechanic keep me entertained and swimming is a pastime that keeps me fit. That’s swimming in the ocean, not a pool, so I take on the temperature and the currents of open waters! It’s exhilarating and I love it!

I’m open, honest and decisive and I believe that the quickest way to achieve the best result is to get to the core of the situation as quickly as possible, always being 100 percent transparent throughout.
