Meeting new people and helping them solve issues and problems tends to be the highlight of my day, within my role as a Property Manager. Now that I am also the Business Development Manager at Remuera branch, where my primary responsibility will be driving business growth, I see this as an exciting next step in my career journey!

Before joining Barfoot & Thompson, I was the Business Development Manager for a finance company, working with Kiwis to show them the benefits of Kiwi Saver schemes and also the intricacies of home loan rates and term deposits. With this background I feel I am perfectly placed to enrich the service the branch offers, and help our clients along the way.

When I think about what initially drew me to Barfoot & Thompson, it was definitely the family aspect of the business. Their strength as a company comes from their people who support each other every day to satisfy their clients with honesty and transparency.

I’ve lived in central Auckland all my life. As a youngster I moved around a bit - Greenlane, Remuera, Epsom - and I loved the people, the activities available and how handy it was to the rest of Auckland, especially Cornwall Park.

A little bit about me: dogs are my thing! Growing up I had a white Retriever named Ed and now I have a King Charles Spaniel, Alfie by name, and also a Gordon Setter, ironically named Gordon! I watch anything with a ball – rugby, tennis and two years ago I caught the golf bug. I’m not sure if it’s the best or the worst thing that has happened to me - I love it!
