My passion for property and interior design, and my fascination for the industry in general led me to choose a career in real estate.
Prior to this, when I was younger, I gained a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel Management and Tourism and a Diploma in professional cookery. I spent many years working in the hospitality industry and in public-facing roles with Auckland Transport, which is where I gained the skills I use today to take my clients’ experience to the next level.
The thing is, I love interacting with people and hearing what they have to say. I pride myself on my ability to communicate, my dependability and strong work ethic, my adaptability and flexibility and most of all, my professional attitude.
These qualities are also celebrated at my place of work, Barfoot & Thompson Henderson. It’s great to be part of such an innovative and successful brand. This is New Zealand's largest privately-owned real estate agency, very family-orientated and I love the diversity and culture of the workplace.
I also appreciate being able to live and work locally. I have been a resident of West Harbour for many years. I know the area well, appreciate the community and love my neighbours. Auckland city in general is a superb place to be, with all its different cuisines, activities, adventures and attractions.
As well as speaking English, I am also fluent in Punjabi and Hindi. And when I am not working, I like to watch and play sports (like Kabaddi, a traditional kind of wrestling and cricket), sing, read, watch biographies and make funny videos! I appreciate the abundance that this beautiful country, Aotearoa, has to offer, and I never take it for granted. Which is why I choose to support a few orphanages in my home country, where the kids who don’t have parents or families are missing out.
If you would like to chat about anything real estate-related, please call me anytime at Barfoot & Thompson Henderson. I look forward to meeting you and being of service!
