Nadja’s reputation precedes her and as we had a difficult house to sell – we only wanted Nadja to sell it. Our house was made of plaster and had no CCC and our section, although it was quarter of an acre, was not a straightforward development site.

Incredible help from the other side of the world!

I live in Scotland but found myself owning a house in New Zealand which I needed to sell. With no family or friends in New Zealand my needs from an estate salesperson were going to be potentially more than the normal demands and so it was important that I found someone prepared to go above-and-beyond ordinary duties. Barfoot & Thompson emerged as the front runner from the performance information I was able to see online and, within that company, Nadja Court’s excellent performance and success was clearly evidenced.

However the personal touch is also important. Nadja helpfully made herself available for a long telephone conversation (there’s a challenging time difference), and on the basis of all that information I decided to engage her services. I have had no reason to be disappointed.

Nadja set up a WhatsApp group to ease communication. Lika DeVito, one of her colleagues, was involved and organised a great cleaner for the house and someone to remove the unwanted “stuff”. Both made themselves available out-of-hours to keep me informed of progress, giving me feedback on viewings etc. It transpired that the house required a lot of work so it was not an easy sale. However Nadja worked incredibly hard to deliver innumerable viewers. She also held my hand as I struggled with the concept and practice of an auction, not common in Scotland, and helped steady my nerves as we got near the big day. After 11 years in our large North Shore home, we recently decided to undertake a change of lifestyle. I talked to Nadja about selling my mother’s (estate) house in October 2022 but needed to get some work done and clear out. It wasn’t until late January 2023 that we were ready to go. We were worried that during Covid, selling would not be an easy process. However Nadja had us booked to full capacity every day with viewings, loads of activity and feedback after every visit. We invited Nadja Court to act as our salesperson to sell our property in Mairangi Bay and auctioned just before Covid. We had buyers who bid but not quite enough to achieve a price we were happy with. Nadja recommended we price after auction and we received offers again, but still not enough to make the move. The process became frustrated by the COVID-19 lockdown, but this did not deter Nadja from being proactive and remaining focused on achieving a sale. Back in March we contacted Nadja about the sale of our house as we wanted to downsize. At the time we didn’t know Nadja but during our initial meeting we were extremely impressed by the strategy she came up with – we could clearly see she was a seasoned professional. We approached Nadja Court to sell our home as we had heard great things about her and she did not disappoint us. She has great communication, is direct and works very hard. Nadja convinced us to go to auction as the best way to sell our house,  as it set a deadline and brought buyers out of the woodwork  to compete for our home. The Auction did just that. I listed my Rothesay  Bay property with Nadja Court in January 2020, after I having had it on the market with another company some years back for many months and with no success. Last month I chose to list my house in Olde Torbay with Nadja Court due to her amazing 2018 sales figures and long lasting reputation of a key salesperson in this area.
