"Achieving success in this industry is about delivering on realistic expectations."
Deborah commenced her career as a real estate salesperson in March 1998. Her high ethical standards and commitment to outstanding customer service saw her achieve outstanding sales results. Her next step was to lead the Waiuku team as Branch Manager for 7 years.
Having recently returned to sales and marketing, Deborah is committed to developing great relationships and delivering on her clients' expectations, whether buying or selling in Franklin.
Barfoot & Thompson has been her business partner for 18 years and one of the many reasons she is pleased to be part of Barfoot & Thompson is because they are a family firm (non-franchised network). When listing a property with the Waiuku branch, this offers the client any one of the company's 1700+ salespeople to introduce an interested buyer to a property, greatly increasing the chances of selling - however her local expertise is invaluable, as well as her 20 years in the business.
Deborah is the current Chair of the Waiuku Business & Development Association and was elected to represent local businesses in Waiuku with responsibility to manage local Business Improvement District (BID) funding in conjunction with Auckland Council. Deborah is a willing worker, community focused and became a Justice of the Peace in 2017.
A very family orientated person, Deborah is proud of her 2 daughters and enjoys spending her free time with them, her husband Grant and their 4 grandchildren. Grant's hobby is motorbikes and Deborah is a willing passenger on a weekend run. She loves property design and 3 years ago built their third new home on a larger property on the outskirts of Waiuku. Deborah also enjoys many craft activities and travelling overseas - having spent time in Australia, India, Sri Lanka and Vietnam in recent years.
Deborah is a proud supporter of the Kidney Society for over 30 years, along with Starship Hospital, St John's Ambulance and many other local groups and schools.
"Waiuku is a fabulous place to live and having been a local for almost all my life I have much pleasure in showing people around and welcoming them to our community."
Dear Deborah. This letter is to thank you for your kind attention to our request for a market appraisal on our property. My wife and I appreciated your attention to what was required by us, there was no hassle or hard line sell by you. The marketing presentation sent to us was of the highest standard full explanation of your strategy, and excellent clarity of all details.
.......... please feel free to use any part of, or the whole, of this letter in any promotion you may have in the future.
Yours faithfullyE J Steward

It seems quite fitting that my last photography session before moving was with Deborah Andrew real estate, who helped us with our first step towards our new life. She sold our home at Glenbrook Beach. Deborah was wonderful to work with; easy to communicate with and empathetic when I got a bit emotional! She comes with our full recommendation if you are looking for an agent.Aimee Preston of #unscriptedlovephotography - June 2019
We would say to anyone who is searching for their ideal property, look to real estate agent Deborah Andrew. Deborah has kept us in mind for over six months and notified us on the first day listing of the property we eventually purchased. Deborah understood our want list and this property was everything we were looking for. The communication between we the buyers and the vendors through Deborah was good and thorough. We are happy to recommend Deborah to any future potential buyers and sellers.Rob and Barbara McEldowney - Happy home buyers
We found Deborah Andrew from Barfoot and Thompson to be very easy to work with, gave great advice and was extremely professional and we would not hesitate to recommend her to any prospective buyers and sellers.Neil & Kath Anderson
