We genuinely cannot recommend Ryan highly enough to anyone who is looking to market and sell their home.
At our first meeting with Ryan, he turned up with various materials comprising an astonishing amount of information about various aspects of our humble home. We were quite taken aback by the time and effort he had put into this meeting and impressed by his knowledge of our property. To put it bluntly, he possessed all the great attributes of a real estate salesperson and none of the negative cliches. He struck a perfect balance between personable and professional, optimistic and realistic, perceptive and strategic but always honest, fair and reasonable in all his dealings with us and on our behalf.
From then, each time we spoke or met with Ryan we were reminded of why our choice as to who to engage to sell our house was such an easy and obvious one. He went above and beyond in every way.
Ryan accommodated every prospective purchaser by meeting with them outside the scheduled open homes, always arrived early and left late, reported to us regularly and kept us informed as to all aspects of the process throughout the campaign, and promptly and capably answered every question we asked of him. When questions were asked of us by prospective purchasers, he did not simply put those to us and pass on our responses; he would assist and support us in answering them by reviewing relevant documents, undertaking research, or conferring with others.
He is the epitome of a real estate guru - he was across every statistic, recent sale, trend etc at all times. As things evolved, he reconsidered and readjusted. The level of interest, engagement and ownership he took in the campaign was as if it were his own property. It is plain to see that for him, this is a true passion.
He was always very complimentary and appreciative of the things we had done well to prepare and present our home, but also offered many tips and insights into how we could improve. We would often joke with one another about being students of Ryan's real estate school! With every matter that arose, he would always give us the options, backed up by careful analysis and drawing upon previous experience, being clear that the decision was then ultimately ours to make.
We had an excellent result at auction but going in, with no knowledge or expectation as to what would happen, we both agreed that no matter what the outcome, Ryan (and we) had done everything possible to yield the best result.
Recognising how significant the transaction was for both us and our purchaser, still in the auction rooms and after all the formalities were complete, Ryan took the time to introduce us and we all spoke for some time (and we have kept in touch with our purchaser ever since). He celebrated with us afterwards; he met our parents and we met his mother - having already met his daughter who helped with the open homes!
This sincerity and generosity was typical of Ryan, from bringing flowers to our first open home, to bringing champagne and joining us in putting the 'sold' sticker on our for sale sign that evening.
Ryan made a busy and stressful time enjoyable for us. He is a rockstar.
