Cliff and I had been looking to move North for some time, and over the Christmas period of 2022/23 we came across a property that we just could not pass up. On returning to our Auckland home early February after our Christmas holiday, we were faced with a full renovation of our Glen Eden home to get us to market and sold ASAP. 

I contacted Sue Allan. She had been recommended by friends who had sold a house with her a couple of years prior and also because Sue was an experienced agent with full knowledge of our area. I met with Sue for the initial introduction and said to Cliff later that day, yes I am happy with this lady.  Sue was, of course, very experienced but what impressed me was that she was very up-to-date and honest about the difficult market at that time. She recognised that we were not without some knowledge of buying and selling and were aware of the difficult market and the job we faced in getting our property ready, and so formed a great working relationship with us to help with ideas and strategies.

Along the way, we seemed to continually have challenges, however we all kept each other informed and Sue helped immensely in resolving the issues. Her patience and stability (and humour) was so helpful in keeping me sane!

By June 2023 we were on the market and sold within a month.  We are so thankful to have worked with, and had Sue’s help, and will recommend her always.
