Our heartfelt appreciation to Barfoot & Thompson salespeople Monica Bajaj and Renisha Jaiswal, whose high level of professionalism, ability to look beyond the figures, critical evaluation of what the circumstances provided to come up with rational ideas and solutions, literally shaped the sale of our home at Wao O Taiki Bay in Auckland.
The house was sold last week by auction having been in the market for just two weeks. An awesome, brilliant result which we never thought would happen so quickly, even in our wildest dreams. We are stoked. 😁
Right from the outset we were very impressed with their level of knowledge of current market trends. And also the amount of effort and time they put into explaining how the sales process worked. Their presentations were straightforward with the pros and cons of every scenario plausible, explained with strategies to tackle eventualities, moving forward. On day one, they spent their entire evening walking us through the “big picture.” And they did not talk down to us after we told them, “We don’t have a clue about this whole process…”, in fact, they came prepared with a calming and professional demeanour and spoke to us like we were friends heading out for a picnic. From there on out, they were always available to provide us with the information that we needed. Not only did we feel like we had all the information we needed to make those decisions, but also felt like we were in good hands. Especially because of our inexperience, we did not know all of the right questions we should be asking and they would proactively provide this information, which made us feel like we were walking through this process with eyes wide open. Their responsiveness was incredible. If they were not available in person they were just a phone call away and if they did not pick up, they would always call back no more than five minutes later. Also, if Monica or Renisha did not know, they would tell us, “we do not know, but we will have an answer for you shortly.” They are as prepared as professionals can be in the field for most questions and concerns. From the marketing folder for potential clients through assigning a professional photographer for the social media campaigns, everything was handled with aplomb during the two week sales campaign. We observed them during ‘open homes’ and it was their professionalism and gentle amiable natures that potential buyers warmed to. And on the day of the auction there were some very tense negotiations just before exchange of contracts, but they both remained cool, calm and collected, leading to a great outcome. Thanks for selling the house so quickly and effectively at a price which met our expectations. We cannot thank both Monica and Renisha enough for the excellent service they provided and would highly recommend them to anyone and everyone who wishes to sell or buy houses in Auckland. Wishing them both very many sales this year and beyond.
