For me, the best part of my job as a real estate salesperson is not only the freedom and diversity it offers, but also the satisfaction and happiness shown by my clients at the closing of a deal. I believe my cheerful and professional demeanour makes it easier for clients to both trust me and feel at ease when making some of the biggest decisions of their lives.

I believe the key to my success is communication. Listening to the needs of my clients and meeting their expectations, sets the foundation for a sound working relationship. These communication skills also make it easier for me to find the perfect match of property for my clients as I understand their interests and needs better.

I joined Barfoot & Thompson in 2002, a company with great values and nearly 100 years of experience. My passion is bringing together like-minded people in the sale and purchase of property. I have sold over 1,000 properties, viewed more than 10,000 properties and personally developed a number of new houses from scratch, including one medium-sized development. I specialise in residential property for both owner/occupied and investment dwellings.

With 19 years of experience, from design to sale, and through good communication with my clients, I have learned a lot. I have accumulated an exceptional amount of knowledge about property values, rents, trends, and future shifts in market conditions. This has allowed me to analyse the different categories of clients, the methods of sale in different markets and to give constructive feedback to my clients.

I hold a Bachelor of Economics and worked as an economic analyst for a large statistics company in China, before immigrating to New Zealand in 2001. In 2007, I obtained Associate status of the Real Estate Institute of New Zealand and served two years as a co-opted member of the investigation subcommittee of the REINZ.
